We've recently attended our favourite event of the year, The Angel Ball. It's in aid of Francis House Children's Hospice. The appeal is headed up by Kirsty Howard who is sadly terminally ill. She's more commonly known as 'Beckhams's Angel'

It's a star studded event attended by about five hundred people each year and it's original aim was to raise £5,000,000 for the hospice which was successfully reached last year. That money has now been invested, and the interest and earnings alone will keep the hospice open and running forever.
The appeal has now changed to the K Club, which aims to open a new wing to the hospice which will be named in honour of young Kirsty. We were especially honoured to be there as we have just been made patrons of the appeal, something we are very very proud of.
During the evening, our friends 'Eton Road' performed live on stage. They were immensely fabulous! By the way, Eton Road are permorming live in Southport town centre on Saturday 8th December. Make sure you're there, it's going to be amazing!

We had a table with our usual 'ball' friends who join us as most of the 'celeb' bashes... Colin, Debbie, Darren, Tracey, Claire, Stephen, another Stephen and Kirsty! It was a terrific night enjoyed by everyone and of course tens of thousands of pounds were raised for the K Club.
