Today we went to a fabulous book launch for Pete Price's autobiography 'Namedropper'. It was an event superbly organised by Liverpool 'it' girl, Carolyn Hughes and held at the trendy 'Living Room' in Victoria Street.
We were greeted by yet another Champagne reception (we're getting good at these!!!) whilst mingling with some of Liverpool's finest!
It was about a year ago when Pete asked us to produce a piece of work by 'Yaffé Fusion Art' for his home. We were of course delighted and produced two stunning pieces for him. He loved them so much, he now has both images prominently displayed on his living room wall.
Earlier this year, over lunch with Pete, he asked our permission to use one of the images for the cover of his new autobiography that he was writing. This was a real honour for us and we were delighted to oblige.
Today was the launch, he was signing his books and did what Pete does best... told a few funny stories and swore blind they were all true! (yeah right Pete, we believe you!)
After lunch was a question and answer session. We would love to share with you some of the questions asked, but after so much Champagne consumed, we couldn't possibly repeat them here for fear of being stripped of our blog!
Here's the book in all it's glory.....
