For many stylists, it’s an inevitable part of the job: Women showing up for their cut with a photo of a celebrity from a magazine or printed off the Internet.
Wanting a Hollywood look is nothing new. As long as films and television have existed, actresses have been the most visible, and most popular, hair models.

The 'Pob'
This week, we paid a visit to our favourite celebrity hairdresser, Herbert of Liverpool at his über-cool salon in Hanover Street.

The 'Bling' building
For anyone who hasn't visited the salon, it's worth going just to take a look, from it's black sparkly granite floors, to the glittering gold ceiling in the 'powder room', the whole look is decadent, opulent and lavish!
This is certainly one trendy place to be seen at in our Capital of Culture!
Herbert, has recently invited us to display some of our stylish pieces of Fusion Art at his salon for his clients to admire whilst walking around the building. There's an extraordinary, and very large piece on display just as you walk in of Herbert himself in his diamond encrusted pink suit. We were so taken aback by this amazing outfit, that we specially imported hundreds of pink Swarovski crystals to use on the picture to bring some real 'bling' to the piece of artwork. You can't miss it!
We asked Artistic Director, Stephen from Herberts, Is it helpful to bring along some images of the stars, and he said, although this gives him an idea of what your after, it's more important to find a style that works for you taking into account your hair, your look and of course your lifestyle.
Maybe you've had your hair changed to look like a celebrity? Perhaps you have been unlucky enough to experience a hair disaster? We want to hear about it! Send us your pictures, or tell us your stories.
See you soon!
