So, apparently some 'person' wrote and complained to the Visiter about our window display! We happily launched our new style 'Yaffé Undressed' a couple of weeks ago and created a stunning window display showing off our new work.

'Yaffé Undressed' is our new style of beautiful portraits of women or couples either naked or semi-clothed. This is something which we have been creating for a long time, but as it's become so popular, we decided to give it it's own branding and launch it in a big way.
A long time ago, portraits like these were considered perhaps 'taboo'. However, in today's society with images of semi clad girls in their undies blazoned across billboards and bus-stops selling perfume and other luxuries, you'd think nobody would be surprised!
But someone was surprised! We're guessing an older person, perhaps a woman who is still living in the 1950's?! But what do you think? Are you offended by these beautiful pieces of art?
We've had two phone calls at the studios this morning from people saying they there's nothing wrong with them...
Elva Tyrer rang to say she thinks the window is lovely and tasteful. She says "The people who complained must have nothing better to do and can only be jealous!"
Phillip Berrill, a local illustrator says he has no problem with the window and the female form is something beautiful. The only worry he can think of is youngsters coming across it unexpectedly and being embarrassed.
We want to know what you think! Come on, don't be shy.... send us your comments now!

Hello Sandra, I had my portrait taken last year at your studios, and I, like many people in your window, was in the nude. It was done for my husband for his 40th birthday, and he was totally thrilled to say the least. I disagree totally with whoever was narrow minded enough to write to the local paper to complain. Your work is beautiful and everyone knows it. Thanks again for my picture. Louise.
