Hi, well I thought I would write my own piece today with results on my progress at the gym with Kev. Sandra and I have been seeing Kev most mornings at 6.30am!!
We must be mad! Mind you, all this hard work is starting to pay off already as I’ve started to lose a few pounds and at least four people I know have commented I’m looking better for it.
There’s been more horror on the Versa-climber-of-death with promises of yet more!! We’ve also been working on what’s known as the ‘free weight’ area, which is a bit harder than the machines. What is interesting however is the slightly embarrassing grunting sound I seem to be making when lifting heavy weights! Kev says everyone makes noises when lifting heavy weights, but for some odd reason when Sandra is doing it, she doesn’t make a peep! I think she might be a robot in disguise!!!! Am I odd or does everyone grunt?!

I’m getting used to our new diet. Kev says to eat porridge for breakfast made with water, and then fresh fish, meat, veg and fruit for the rest of the day. Lots and lots of water but no eating after 6pm! This stops you from having food lying on your stomach when you go to bed. It’s not as bad as it may sound, but the worst part is no bread, no pasta, no potatoes, no chocolate, no wine… aaarrrggghhhhh!
